Welcome to the ‘The Vic’, your Friendly Local!

With open courtyards for dining and socialising, and with dining and bar areas inside, The Victoria Tavern has everything you would expect from a great local pub. Located at the start of Petone’s historic Jackson Street, the first ‘Vic’ was built circa 1875 as a hotel, with the latest incarnation erected in 1971.

In 2020, ‘The Vic’ had a major refit to bring it into the 21st century. Today,  with a focus on tap beer and cocktails in the bar, complemented by a menu that offers the best New Zealand produces, ‘The Vic’ is once again open for business...
